Anyone who has never been to Beaumont needs to go.

Sarah and Joe are our adopted family in that part of Texas, and we spent a lovely day with them this past weekend. Here are a few of the highlights:

Pickled squash over cream cheese, served with crackers. YUM!

Skipper, the latest addition to the Bondurant family.

Wish I had gotten pictures at Evelyn's house, where we enjoyed peach and blueberry crisp, two kinds of cookies, fresh muffins, and coffee. But I did not. Oh well.
