This is a crazy week for us. Daniel's in Mexico until late Friday. I'm flying with Oliver tomorrow to go see my brand new niece. The kids are staying with various family members. We'll all be back under the same roof Friday night, and then I work the weekend (and then Daniel leaves again Monday for another business trip). Busy, busy, busy!

The kids love tea parties. Can I tell you how much? A lot. We make real tea. Elliot is crazy for hot tea. He's crazy for all things liquid, actually.
But he especially loves tea. He pronounces it, "dthee"
... as in, "Elliot, do you want your cup?"
Dthee?
No, it's just milk. Do you want it?
Dthee!!! Dthee!!!!
No, we're just having milk right now. Say "okay".
Oh-ay

We're in a small group this fall. It's made up of couples from several different churches and is therefore somehow more "open" than past groups I've been a part of. It's not taken for granted that anyone believes any particular thing (besides the bare basics of Christianity). We're really enjoying it. The couples we're getting to know seem pretty engaged in the discussions. We're studying Mark.

Doesn't Oliver look like a willing participant in this game of pretend (below)?

Oh man I have a ton of stuff to do before morning. Better wrap this up.

Wish me luck at the airport tomorrow. I've never flown alone with a 4 month old. I'm sure it will be fine.
