Nursery Ideas
Confession: I have (almost) shamelessly stolen these pictures from other people's blogs and have no rights to any of them... in fact I don't even know where most of them came from. But I love them. I don't feel bad for stealing them from this blog, because apparently their adorable family lives in Sicily and takes weekend trips to Paris.
Anyways, in looking for nursery ideas, I have realized that there are so many good ones out there! Love the look of the wall with the chair rail (or is it just a white stripe?), separating two saturations of the same tone:
Or this one with the checkerboard border. I wonder how time-consuming this would be.
Love the artwork with the name scripted so creatively:
Love, love, love these pearls, again separating the two colors. Daniel's comment: we need vaulted ceilings!
Or this cutesy scallop, again with the two different lightnesses:
This one is creative, I think. I don't have the guts to try it in our nursery, but I love it in this one.
Daniel and I both really like this vine. But it does look decidedly girlie, and we won't know about gender until the beginning of February.
So many possibilities! It's fun thinking about the future--but I can't wait to find out pink or blue!

Well, brown goes with both! These are adorable ideas! I can't wait to see what you decide on!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to see how you decorate your nursery. I LOVE the first one with the white stripe.
ReplyDeleteMy friend Melanie painted her daughter's room such a bright pink that it reflects off the white hallway next to it. It's actually pretty cute, though.
