I love having a home studio. Love it. It is just hard to beat the convenience for a nice, bright spot to photograph a baby.

Oliver and I had 3 mini-sessions the other day. All with Lucy and Elliot's "help". And all between other normal daily activities (story time, snack time, dishwasher time, etc.)

Lucy has become so helpful these days -- she loves to sit beside me and call to Oliver all the ways she hears me do it. She finds musical/noisy toys to wave right beside me, trying to get Oliver to look at us.

Elliot's helpfulness is more attempted than actual these days, but for a not-quite-2-year-old, he does pretty well.
Oliver is getting so strong! He can flip from front to back and from back to front. He gets frustrated if I leave him to work on it for a long time (20+ minutes), but generally he is good-natured about tummy time.

He is the happiest baby ever.

We love to tickle and cuddle and kiss this little one. I'm so glad he's still little. He's just a joy of a baby.
