"Hands!" is the code name for the. most. fun. thing. Playing with the kitchen faucet! I think she says "hands," short for "wash your hands."
I assume she thinks that between washing our hands and doing the dishes, we adults must just have the best time in the kitchen, because truly she could spend hours pouring water from one container to the next.
She takes it seriously. Like a job. I guess water out of a faucet is kind of fun, in a way.

There is a small lake under her chair whenever she's done playing "wash your hands". I've been learning, though. One towel is not enough. 2-3 towels are a must.
Such a cute series of pictures! She looks so intent!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mom!
DeleteAustin loves washing his hands too. He has a stool that is "his", bad thing is he figured out how to pull the water spout out and makes quite a mess too
ReplyDeleteBtw this is april
ReplyDeleteThanks, April! I figured it wasn't Joel :)
Deleteawe, cute pics! I recently had to put a firm limit on hand-washing at our house, as I was letting Abby do the same (for as long as she'd stay happy and entertained!), and she developed dry itchy eczema-like hands! A few days of arguing over just one squirt of soap and only washing hands as needed, plus Aquaphor like 4 times a day, and she's back to normal, but we're both bummed, because that was nice easy entertainment!
