It has been cold the past few days.

The kids were beside themselves, wanting to go out and play in it.
Unfortunately, it wasn't very playable. Just tiny little beads of ice.
But they enjoyed making footprints on the sidewalk and eating it.
And when we came back inside, Lucy suggested we all have some hot cocoa.
So that's what we did.

Well, I couldn't hold him and take pictures (I needed both hands), but the ground was literally freezing cold and sort of wet... so I grabbed that box from the entry way (it has our new fireplace grate inside) and put it down so he could sit. What does one normally put an 8 month old down on when there's ice on the ground?
