She's made several in the last couple years but seems to be picking up steam lately -- she made all three of these in the past 6 months. Aren't they beautiful?
The name of the kit is Bucilla (see buying options here), and you can mostly find them online.
But to call it a "kit" makes it sound like you just glue some felt together. That is not the case.
Each one takes about 40 hours to make.
Each kit comes with multiple sheets of felt, and Carrie does all the cutting, embroidery, and hand-stitching to make the finished, intricately decorated stocking.
She even makes a separate satin-lining to hand-sew into the stocking at the end--a nice touch.
I love Lucy's stocking.
I don't know what the official name is, but it's something like, "Sugar Plum Fairy Ballerina Princess" and is over the top, in terms of cuteness and girly-ness.
I love it.
