This weekend we traveled to Beaumont to see our good friends Joe and Sarah.
It had been 9 months since our last visit, and I'd missed them!
Joe and Sarah took me in during one of my medical rotations, when I would otherwise have had to stay in a really shady house in the bad part of Beaumont.
They are fantastic, and Daniel and I always have such a nice time with them.
And--this was their first time to meet Lucy.
On Saturday we went to their church's Bazaar, which Sarah and Joe both had a hand in planning.
There were SO many cute things to see, but I was good and only bought an ornament and some toffee.
This is St. Stephens' Reverend Nancy and our friend Judy.
And this is sweet Evelyn who is 91 years old and going strong.
She is crazy about Lucy. She introduced herself to Lucy as her "Auntie Evelyn."
This restaurant is wonderful - Goodfellas. SO good.
Joe and Sarah, we are already looking forward to our next visit!
