New Stuff for Elliot this month:
1. He has turned into a really joyful little crawler. He loves to talk to himself (da-da-da-da) and laugh to himself while he crawls over the toy-cluttered living room terrain.
2. He is all about feeding himself these little toddler puff cereals they make. He loves them. Can't get them to his mouth fast enough.
3. When it comes to sleep, the word is regression. He is back to waking up every 2 hours. Oh. my. gosh.

4. He is so interested in what Lucy is doing. He's not really bothered too much when she takes things out of his hands (which we're working on). But he loves to be beside her and to handle whatever she's handling. He also loves playing on the bed with her--rough-housing and tumbling and laughing and rolling.
5. He's developed a wee bit of separation anxiety. Just a wee bit.

6. He's back to floating! We hit a rough patch after his lessons terminated at the beginning of the summer, but now he's back to floating in the pool.
7. He's such an active nurser. It's ridiculous. He tries to stay latched while he stands up, stopped over, and tries to look around the room.
8. He's napping about 3 times/day (9, noon, 4).

9. He crawls on the carpet but always bear-crawls on the hard wooden floor or tile. Delicate knees, I guess.
10. He's potty training! We've been at it a month now. He usually has at least 3 successes/day, depending on how alert I am watching his signs and signals.

No teeth yet. Still waiting on that milestone. Man he's a cutie. We remark on it all the time. His personality is not quite as dare-devilish as Lucy's bit still relatively adrenaline-dependent. He's just such a happy, joyful baby.
And what gorgeous blue eyes! Is Daniel making him laugh in these?
