I traded mommy-and-me maternity sessions with a friend the other day.
She and I are actually due within a week of each other, so this session was well-timed... for both of us. I love mommy-and-me sessions.
I am so rarely in photos with the kids, much less in makeup and decent clothes.
It's interesting to swap sessions with another photographer, because sometimes you really get to see a difference in style.

Wow, gorgeous photos! Yes, the finished style is very different on these; I can tell you didn't take them (besides the obvious give-away that you're actually IN them)...was the process very different as the model?
ReplyDeleteWell, yes--very different from being the photographer (much easier!). This "session" was like 8 minutes long, so the kids didn't get bored or anything... and they are so clingy and generally easy in front of the camera that they just kind of did their usual thing :). It's difficult to act as photographer when they're around b/c they want to be held or want to be right at my feet. But since this little session was quick, it wasn't so much an issue. I was able to stick them both in the stroller with some pretzels, and that occupied them until I was done taking Bailey's photos :).
