Easter 2015

He is risen!  Happy Easter!

We had a really nice day!  Here are the Cliff's notes:

5:30 am - Wake up the kids, get the dressed while half asleep, hold Elliot while he cried and cried and cried.

6:45 am - Sunrise service at HPUMC (moved inside due to rain... but with breakfast burritos and donut holes, which the kids loved).

8 am - Kids' first visit to Krispy Kreme.  B/c the "hot" sign was on, and we had a lot of time to kill before lunch.  Mesmerized by the factory-production of the donuts.  Amazing.

***nap time***

12 pm - Lunch at Ginnie's house -- brisket, duck, and chicken (wowsa!)  Enjoyed chatting with family.

1:30 pm - Easter egg hunt!!! Our first ever (the first one Daniel and I hid eggs for, together, in our own backyard).  The kids had fun.  Each egg had ONE treat in it (like 1 m&m, etc.).  Because c'mon... they're only 2 and 3 years old.

***nap time***

6 pm - Leftovers for dinner.  Finish staring down the clock until 7pm bedtime.

7 pm - Kids to bed.  FREEDOM for us.
