The kids were so excited -- we invited Mimi and Auntie Karen over for tea this week. It was a treat.
Not only were there homemade tea cakes (with sprinkles!)...
...but our special guests even brought over shortbread cookies and a fancy water pitcher.
And hats. Can't forget about the hats they brought. What fun.
I'm trying to remember now what our conversation was.
I think we must have talked quite a bit about how everyone was liking their food and tea.
Oliver got a nice warm cup of tea all down his front. And then he got water after that.
But the "big kids" enjoyed many, many cups of English Breakfast tea, with cream and sugar (of course).
It's not everyday you get to have a tea party with your Mimi and your great Auntie K.
