Lucy the Label Maker

Lucy discovered our label maker a couple weeks ago, and it has become one of her favorite toys.

Can you see "Doc Mcstuffins" and "Oliver?"
You may recall that we were working our way through a book that teaches phonics and reading.

Can you see "Daddy" and "Books" and "Snacks" and "Bab-y" and "Elliot?"  We're not sure what "Sticker-uhby" or "prwitspo" mean, and Lucy couldn't tell us.

She has acquainted herself with the joy of sounding out whatever words come to her mind and finding the corresponding letters (or "sounds" as we call them).

Can you find "Gymnastics" and "Lucy [is] four" and "Hazel" and "Jem" (the singer we listen to in the car) and "weird" and "Nonnie?"
It is truly amusing, seeing how she thinks some of these words are spelled.  She is actually now beginning to ask us how to spell the words she wants to write...

Can you see "pretty" and "Elliot" and "Oliver" and "Fred" and an additional spelling of "pretty?"

...But I think her best guesses are so adorable.

Can you see "X-ray" and "towel" and "parks" and "malls" and "Elliot [is] 3" and "Mimi" and "Ollie" and "Red" and "Oliver" and "God" and "Lucy?"
