New Stuff This Month!
1. Starting to learn her ABC's
2. She's getting to know her animal sounds pretty well now - especially the sheep ("BAHHH") and the elephant.
3. She's been building with blocks! She loves to knock 'em down.
4. She's become helpful - replacing Elliot's pacifier in his mouth, saying "uh-oh!" when he cries, and unloading the silverware onto the counter.
5. She's started jumping from the ottoman to the sofas. And she's all about climbing! She loves to climb up the back of the sofa and then roll down the front side.
6. New spontaneously spoken words: berries, hat, Jack, bath
7. Bedtime is so cute. She repeats "Uh wuv oo" after we say, "I love you!"
8. Bedtime necessities: bunny, pacifier, noise maker on, lullaby cd on, light off, cup of water, crib side all the way up! (found out that last one was very important recently when she began crying inconsolably after I left the room, having forgotten to put the side all the way up.)
9. Car rides are riddled now with "down pees! down pees! down pees!" from the backseat.
10. She's become a good pointer! You can ask her where most things are, and she'll give it her index finger and best effort.
Lucy, we love you! You are so much fun. What a handful you have become.
