This has been a busy, photo-filled month for us. I guess I was in a lull for a while and wasn't taking many photos of the kids, but lately I've felt more inspired--which has been nice.

Or maybe it's my way of procrastinating studying. That's terrible. We'll go with inspired.

Nonnie came over a few days before Easter to dye eggs with the kids. Lucy loves craft time. It is her favorite time of the day (not that it's a daily thing, by any means).

She usually asks to do a craft, and I exhibit the classic deer-in-headlights while trying to think of what we can possibly do for a craft. Almost always "craft time" involves gluing buttons on various shapes of paper (heart for Valentines, a 4-leaf clover for St. Patrick's day, an egg for Easter, and so on).

Really, that's all she wants to do. Glue buttons on stuff. I should enjoy this easy time when she's not demanding really time-intensive and planning-intensive crafts.

But I feel like I'm failing her in the craft department. She hasn't seemed to notice, though.

Almost daily now I hear, "You have a baby in your tummy!! We don't know if it's a boy or a girl! We have to wait and see! In the summer!" Her level of comprehension is amazing, especially compared with what it was when Elliot was almost here. She can't wait. And I am getting more excited by the day.

Garbage trucks are still a hugely popular vehicle around here. A day when the regular trash and bulk trash are picked up is... amazing for the kids. Truly the highlight of the week.

Daddy, we saw THREE garbage trucks today!!!

I love this pre-stereotype age.
That's adorable.
