I can't believe I forgot to post these!

Whereas usually I take the kids some Fall morning for an (exhausting) photo opp out at the Arboretum... this year we went as a family!

And added perk--we went with Jennifer's family, so we (and they) even got a family picture out of the trip!

The trick to getting pretty much any pictures at the Arboretum during the pumpkin patch season is to get there right when they open and then take all the pictures you care about in the first 10 minutes. After that, it's crawling with people.

Lucy was Oliver's age in this picture (above, left).

"Mommy, those fish are teeeeeeeny teeeeeeeny tiny!"

Daniel teaching the kids about koi fish.
Jennifer getting pounced on by Elliot while Evie checks out the fish.

Pumpkin pictures next year will have FOUR kids in them! And the youngest may well be walking by then. Crazy.

Four kids in the pumpkins!!! What a thought! Why fun that will be :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Gonna have to do some head-swapping, for sure! :).
Deleteso precious photos!!! Can't wait for next year
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Lucy's face in your second family picture looks JUST like Daniel's cute smile when he was that age :)
ReplyDeleteThis was Heather, actually, not Justin :)
DeleteI LOVE these! And great advice about photo timing strategy. Plus, mood and energy are highest at the beginning i would think.
