This week I started orientation at my new job. The first few days were from home, so I enjoyed long hours in front of my computer, reading and reading... and reading.
This is Lucy's Eskimo outfit - helpful for keeping her nice and warm in her crib at night.
Anyways, I am now midway through my orientation, and I have to say that leaving Lucy all day has been tougher than I thought it would be. I mean, every mom says it's hard. But there's something, in my opinion, disturbing about how hard it is. Who is this little person that suddenly has such a hold on me?
I am so grateful for my education and for a career that allows me to only work very minimally. After my orientation is over, I really will only work a small amount - and mostly on the weekends, when Daniel can watch her.
Today I am home, and so grateful to be holding her :). I hope you're having a nice Thursday, too!
