Golly we've been busy lately. I'm nesting. I'm planning for the bedroom to be blue, and I really want to do stripes - either horizontal or vertical (thoughts?).
I love the look of the same hue, in different glosses (see the above 2 photos as examples, originally from here and here).
We plan to replace the carpet with the dark wood laminate currently in the living room. The living room floor will need to come up in the next 3 weeks, before we leave for Colorado, because the foundation repair company is going to drill 13 gigantic holes and install piers while we're gone. Since we won't be able to lay the living room flooring down exactly as it was before, we're going to lay it in the 2 spare bedrooms and replace the living room floor with this:
I've already received my VOC mask in the mail - that'll make it safe for baby#2 for me to paint. Now all I need to do (shout out, Heather) is buy the supplies, remove the carpet, and paint the room!
HAhahaha, "all I need to do"! Sounds like a few other people I know, too!
