Her favorite book. She calls it "The Bitsy Bitsy Spider." The book has feelings. It gets scared when it hears sirens.

She is in to all things trucks and cars. In the car I hear a running commentary on which vehicles she sees out the window.
Oh! I think I see another pick up truck! Oh! There's a cement-ment mixer! Bye-bye, cement-ment mixer. We're headed home!
She loves merchandise with Disney's Cars characters, though she's never actually seen the movie. She wants her (read: Elliot's) "cars cup" with her at all times during the day. It also has feelings and gets scared when it hears sirens.
She tells me she will give the baby "Lucy milk" when she gets bigger. I tell her it's a great idea.
Lately she keeps referring to Elliot as "the baby" or even "the itty bitty baby". I think she's doing it in excitement over the real baby who is almost here. It's kind of ridiculous, though -- b/c he's potty training and already looks so big to me... he's not much of a baby anymore...

...and he definitely won't seem like it when there's a little 8-pounder lying nearby a few days from now.
