Evening Family Swim Date

 
Last night we had a picnic dinner at one of the public pools near us.


 It's the coolest public pool I've ever seen, with slides, a lazy river, and a kiddy pool. 



The kids had so much fun.  Oliver, especially LOVED "swimming" back and forth between Daniel and me. 



We would say, "You wanna go get Mommy?"  And he would get this huge grin on his face and lunge into the water. 



This was my first venture (of this year) with the underwater housing for the camera.  I couldn't get much because there was just so much going on with other people all around, etc. 


And Oliver's not actually remotely safe in the water yet.  But still, it was fun to come home and show the kids the pictures I did get of them floating and having fun. 








We're hoping to make this a weekly family tradition during the summer, so yay--maybe better swimming pictures in the coming months.
