Oliver, presumably accepting his very limited vocabulary, is now all about signing. He likes to sign more, Mama, Dada, all-done, eat, baby, and help. His "words" include "ch" (which means juice, Charlie, chicken, and shoes) and also "ah" (which means water).
He looooves to give kisses. He makes a perfect lip-smack kissing sound as he generously doles out kisses to everybody. They are his way of apologizing when he's caused a boo-boo. It's the most affectionate way to transmit a virus.

Speaking of viruses, we were all sick this last week. With a stomach virus. As my sister in law put it, "holy loads of laundry!" That pretty much sums up the state of the household's clothes. I'm pretty behind. We used a lot of towels.

Oliver loves his elephant. And he loves the pacifier and his beloved bottle. His newest interest is unscrewing the battery compartment of a bus toy. He can't actually unscrew it, but he can get the screwdriver out of the hutch drawer, sit down, and fit the tip of the driver into the correct screw. He turns the screw in his little fingers, but he hasn't quite gotten the hang of a continual, effective screwing motion.

Oliver is hilarious and adorable. He is so stinking cute. We can't get over it. He's ticklish and playful. He loves to lick our pants like a puppy. He has (thankfully) slowed down on biting us. His bites hurt like the dickens. He's in love with trucks and all truck books. He loves spinning in the huggle pod and cuddling after nap time. He is so fun. We like him a lot.
