Goodbye, Summer

We in Dallas are still waiting for fall to start.  It's still pretty warm outside during the day, and our air conditioners are still hard at work.  But it's not all bad.  The other night the weather was warm, and we grilled out.

I love this photo.  It captures so many things I love, all in one shot.  A relaxed evening with Daniel, getting Lucy to laugh up at us, enjoying a glass of wine, and the cloth diapers are a constant reminder to me that I get to be home with Lucy... b/c they would not be worth the time and effort if I were working, and if I were working, I would buy disposables.  I hope the memories of this chapter in our life stay as detailed, sweet, and clear as this photo.
