Eight Months Old: Lucy's Monthly Photo

Hmm... I am a little late with this month's update.  But here it is - better late than never.

 

Inspired by this blogger, I'll be photographing Lucy each month in her green outfit until her second birthday.

 

Oh my goodness there have been so many new things this last month!  Lucy weighs 17.5 pounds and is 26 1/2 inches long.  



In addition to saying, "ma-ma-ma," she is also now saying "da-da-da-da."



And she's been eating lots of little, soft solids like cooked carrots, sweet potatoes, and fresh fruits.  She loves sauteed veggies with garlic.  



Just 2 days ago she started crawling and pulling up!  And she stared clapping!  It is so cute.  I will post more on that soon.  

 

Daniel and I have so much fun with her, playing on the floor or in our bed on Saturday mornings.



She is all about grabbing noses these days, and unfortunately I can't manage to stay ahead of her quickly-growing finger nails.  



Lucy, we love being your parents!  We are always talking to each other about how cute and how fun you are.  I love that you're so little, but I'm also looking forward to when you get bigger and can talk to us!
