LightScoop

My SIL recently introduced me to Professor Kobre's Lightscoop - a genius little flash bouncer to help mitigate the harsh effects of pop-up flash.

Sometimes you have to use flash, b/c the lighting is so poor.  But it really destroys warm skin tones.

This flash bouncer clips onto the camera and uses a mirror to help spread the light, so it's not aimed directly at your subject.  We had previously tried a cheaper flash diffuser, the Fotodiox Pop-Up Flash Diffuser -- but it didn't fit our camera well and ended up being a waste of $7.

And for $30 on Amazon, I think we'll get our money's worth out of it.  Thanks, Jenn!

  1. What an amazing difference!!!
Of course she's a beautiful subject regardless of the lighting, but that is awesome.
Could I see if that other one would fit our camera?
