Girls' Weekend

Daniel's two sisters came into town for the weekend, and it was such fun catching up and spending time with them.


 
Though I have to say that I am tired!



We went to the Arboretum yesterday, as did half of Dallas.  It was really crowded and hot.  And I got sunburned.

 

But we had a really enjoyable picnic on the hill overlooking White Rock Lake, and that part was so nice.



Jennifer got really cute pictures on our way toward the exit, but between trying to save Lucy's skin from the harsh sun, keeping her wriggling body in my arms, and keeping a positive attitude in the ridiculous heat, I had no patience for taking photos.

 

Maybe I can get copies of the ones Jennifer took.

Lucy's cutting her first tooth!  Jack said so the other day in the car, but Daniel and I sort of figured he was pretending.  Although really, with the amount he was making her laugh, he probably had a much better view of her bottom teeth than we typically do.

 

Anyways, he was right!  Her first tooth is on the way in. 



I can't believe how enthralled she is with sippy cups, all of the sudden.  She has almost no interest in bottles anymore.  She loves water in sippy cups.  She is always soaked.
