After a week of fevers and lethargy, Lucy at last seems to be feeling better - YAY! Her right ear infection seems to have burst her hear drum, which was seriously displeasing to learn. But it'll heal up, and she'll be as good as new before long. This was her first ear infection, and I'm hoping it'll be her last for a while. She never pulled on her ear or seemed to be in much pain, though she's been lethargic with the fevers and generally cranky. Like I said - she's finally feeling better today, and Daniel and I are both hoping for a better night's sleep tonight.
Huge kudos to Ginnie for building this swing set in our backyard! There is a baby swing on the left and a child swing on the right, and we tried Lucy on it the other day for the first time.
She likes swinging a lot, though she seems to prefer a mild thrill to the really high flying kind... at least at this point.
It'll be a while before Elliot is ready to swing on this swing set. I wonder if Lucy will have graduated up to the child swing by then.
She did really well on the tire swing at my parents' house a few weeks ago, holding on pretty well.
Busy weekend - working Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon. I'm very much looking forward to this weekend being over, as it's the most days in a row I've worked since having Lucy, and I hate leaving her and being gone from the house that much. But after this weekend, I'll only work 3 more--and then Elliot will be here!
