Fifteen Months (Lucy's Monthly Photo)

I'm keepin' it brief.  Here are the updates!

New words since last month:
- dowwwww (down)
- mo (more)

New signs since last month:
- help!
- please!
- drink!

New "ah-hah!" moments from Lucy's perspective, since last month:

- Shoes go on feet!  Shoes are so much fun.
- Mommy's purse is a no-no.  Pulling every card out of Mommy's wallet is only for very special occasions and moments of panicked desperation in the car when Mommy would consider selling her soul for a few silent moments.
- Books have cool stuff on the pages (Lucy can point to a few of the objects, when asked).
- Bunny is a necessity at bedtime and nap time.
- Bananas are better eaten whole.
- Forks are for stabbing food.  Spoons are for Greek yogurt.
- Tissue is for shredding into tiny pieces.  And sometimes for blowing your nose!  (Lucy holds tissue to her nose and blows).
- The grocery cart is a lame excuse for a "ride," even when Mommy goes, "vrum, vrum!"  Wandering around by yourself or being carried by Mommy are far superior alternatives.
- The vacuum cleaner is terrifying and exhilarating.  It evokes a range of emotions and causes many tears and much laughter.
- When the phone rings, it's time to cover your ear - that's just what you do when you hear the phone ringing: look at mommy and cover your ear.
- 2 naps/day is for suckers.  1 nap/day is all I need.
- When Mommy goes to work, Daddy is my best friend.
- The pantry is filled with many wonderful things, including Cheerios.  Cheerios are a great snack to take out of the kitchen and eat sneakily in a corner - or just pour onto the floor.
- Diaper changes are the saddest, darkest part of my experience on Earth.
