October Then and Now

Wow - what a difference a year makes!!



April and I went to the Arboretum the other day (my third trip in as many weeks) and snapped some photos of the kids.  I can't believe how much they've changed since our last trip together.   



Besides the "focused brow" expression, Lucy doesn't even look like the same baby to me!


 

Have I mentioned how much I enjoy the Arboretum?  I believe I have.



If you're gonna go, you need to do it first thing in the morning, before all the other moms get there and fill up the parking lot.  Luckily, we were some of the first to arrive, so we got a primo parking space.



Last year in October Lucy was learning to control her head and her hands.  This year she is learning words, manners, fine and gross motor skills, and climbing.  What a difference a year makes.

Are you different now than you were a year ago at this time?  I hope my heart is more humble, grateful, and tender than it was a year ago.  I know I am at least more grateful to Daniel than I was a year ago, but I think I am more grateful to God, as well.
