We decided to finish out the shed. We need more space, and there's a perfectly good shed in the backyard, with a poured cement foundation.
Finishing out the shed will include the following:
1 - Cleaning out the debris and removing shelves from the walls (done!)
2 - Sealing up the floor and ceiling rafters so there are no more bugs!
3 - Cutting a hole in the wall and reinforcing said hole with more studs so that we can install a window air conditioning unit.
4 - Re-framing the doorway and replacing the doors.
5 - Running electricity to the shed so that we can equip it with lights and electrical outlets.
6 - Drywall
7 - Sealing the concrete floor
Then we can set up Daniel's work space and move some of the bookshelves from the house into the new shed-office!
Oh. Turns out finishing the shed will also involve replacing some rotting panels.
Oof this is going to be a lot of work.
