Cake Smash Portrait Session

Lucy is almost a year old!!  To commemorate, Daniel and I did a cake smash portrait session of her this weekend.  This shoot was a big project -- the preparation, execution, and post-processing were time-consuming.  But I love the photos, and we'll have them forever--so it feels worth it. 

Bedtime, even 6 hours after this shoot, was not fun.   Not sure if it was the caffeine or the sugar (or both), but poor Lucy... and poor, poor us.  At least she slept in until 8 the next morning.
