Lucy is now eleven months old!
...Which means her birthday party is right around the corner! What kind of activities are you supposed to plan for a 1 year old birthday party? I am completely at a loss.
Let's see... in the last month, Lucy has taken her first step and said her first word, "hi."
She still just has the 3 teeth. Well, 2 and a 1/2 teeth really--the top one is still just a little nub.
I discovered this month that she doesn't like watermelon. Weird, right? I love watermelon. What's not to like?
She learned to float this month! Good job, Lucy. She also is getting pretty good at drinking out of cups. Also, she can spell her first and last name! Hah. Just kidding.
She graduated to a big girl car-seat! Still rear-facing, but now she can sit up more in her seat, and I think she likes it.
I'm just amazed at how much she is changing everyday. Thank goodness for this blog, which I intend to one day print as a book.
We love you, Lucy Lynn! We know you'll make such a wonderful big sister to your little brother, whom you'll meet around Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteI see so much of Daniel in her in that second-to-last photo. Something about her expression. I scrolled down and suddenly thought, "WOW, that's so Daniel!"
Soooo... I confess I've been confused the whole time. Is that green outfit going to fit her by her second birthday? oooh, or (I'm realizing as I type out this dumb question) maybe you bought the same outfit in a bunch of different sizes? That would seem to make the most sense.
Just looked again at the month-by-month collage. It's fun to see Lucy changing so much, but this time I also noticed that bunny. Not only does he look smaller in comparison by 11 months, but he's also looking a little less perfectly plump and a little more like a 'real' loved-on toy! Curious to see how he's faring by 2 years!
