"Impressed" is a word I must have said 5 or 10 times during our recent trip to the children's garden at the Dallas Arboretum. It is SO cool!

Nonnie and I took the kids last week.
We got there early when they first opened, so we were the only ones there for a good bit of it.
The "First Adventure" portion of the gardens is awesome for pre-schoolers.

There's a huge sandbox, a bush maze, a little brook for the kids to splash in, an awesome turtle with eggs to play on and in, and even a little slide.

It was such fun to follow the kids around while they explored this little area.

There is also this great little geometry part of the gardens, where kids can match shapes and create tessellations and explore various geometry concepts.

We finished our visit with some celery sliding, which Elliot loved!

There is no way you could see this whole place in a day--we'll definitely be back.
WOW!! Man, I so miss this place!
ReplyDeleteLove the one with the three of you. And the one with Lucy peeking out of the shell. So CUTE!
