We barely got out of the house -- just for a couple hours at a coffee shop in Bury and then for dinner at The Station.

It was quiet today. And still. It's been warm here, but it rained this evening, and the rain cooled everything down a little bit.

We ate dinner at The Station, which is a wonderful pub in town.
They offer exotic meats, but their "regular" food is also just fantastic.

We split an extra spicy pizza (made with ghost chili -- spicy!) and some focaccia bread, and we started our meal in their "garden area" -- which is awesome!!
Picnic tables next to beautiful, flowering bushes and spaced several yards apart from each other. It was really lovely.

Then it began to rain, so we moved inside. It was hot inside, but still really nice.

And that was Day 4! Tomorrow, road trip.
Those pictures of The Station look like professional advertisements! What a beautiful place for a Sunday night dinner. Are the first 2 their house? The pink hydrangea look like the one in the vase.
ReplyDeleteGlad you get to be there!
Looking forward to having Lucy and Elliot tomorrow night.
They do serve things other than beer, right?
