Actually, he turned 5 weeks today, but (as usual) better late than never. I actually took these photos the morning we left for England but am only just now getting them posted.
New stuff this month for Oliver...
There's not a lot to report. He's just beginning to do a little more smiling. Even some social-ish smiling here and there. He has much less neck strength than Lucy or Elliot had by this point. I know we were able to take each of their 1-month photos without helping support their heads.
He likes eating. He doesn't like gas or burps or poopie diapers. He looks adorable in everything he wears, but I especially love how he looks all swaddled up tight in a blanket.
His eyes are dark blue (or maybe green?) and are definitely Daniel's shape, and he has a cute little dimple in his chin for which neither of us can really take credit.
He sleeps about half the time right now. His cry is shrill and sounds so sad! But most of the time he is really calm and quiet. He's actually the calmest, quietest baby I've ever seen. And as long as he's not hungry or poopy, he does awesome in he car.
I don't have a favorite child. I love Lucy, Elliot, and Oliver in equal amounts. But I have to say that Oliver has been the most enjoyable newborn among them.
Crossing my fingers that no hatred of the car develops in him over the next few weeks!
Oliver, we are already crazy about you!! Everybody stops us to tell us what an adorable baby you are, and everybody loves your name. You are like a little celebrity. We love looking at you and talking to you and can't wait to learn more about you and to know you more!
