I love this face. I love all the different expressions he makes.

How did God come up with this face?

How do you imagine--let alone create--billions of faces that are all a little different from each other? It's unfathomable.

Tummy time is exhausting at this point. At this stage, it's more like "smother time." So, so, hard to get that big head up off the bed! But he's doing great at it. He gets stronger every time. And within a month or two, he'll be holding his head up, perpendicular to the bed!

I love how little he is right now. It's fun to see him growing and developing, but I'm not in a rush to "get him" to the next milestone.

I am, however, having fun with "elimination communication." That is a fancy way of saying I guess when he's going to go, and I stick him on the potty to do his business.

I am pretty good at guessing, so it's delightful that he goes on the potty several times/day, and I have that many fewer diapers to change!

I'm not hard core about it, but it is fun to try to beat my own personal best.

Nap times have gotten better. I put Elliot down, and he falls right to sleep. Then I make Lucy rest on the floor beside our bed (on her little Cars nap mat), and she has to stay there until the timer goes off. Oliver sometimes sleeps during that same period, so about half the time I get a small break in the middle of the day.

I try not to count on it, because then I am grouchy when it doesn't happen.
I love this face.

What big, big eyes! Hehe, I remember Ginnie doing that "elimination communication" thing with Jack :)
