What a difference a month makes! Elliot's been doing well, growing like a fiend. Everybody comments on how strong he is and how well he holds his head up. I feel like he skipped the newborn stage. He is already so solid.
He still sleeps most of the day, but he's awake more and more. The nursery is working out really well - I love having him sleep so close to us, yet not with us.
Sweet Elliot has surgery tomorrow - for hypospadias. The actual surgery should only take about 45 minutes, but we have to be there early and then wait for the general anesthesia to wear off - so it'll take most of the day. I'm nervous that our relatively mild-mannered little one will be replaced by a very unhappy, very uncomfortable little one in the 7 days following the surgery (he'll have a catheter during that time). Please pray for comfort for him and patience for us.
Oh, poor Elliot! I'll be praying for you!
