I already mentioned some of Elliot's milestones in the last post, but here are some more.

1. We are enjoying getting Elliot to laugh. He mostly laughs when you look right at him and smile really big -- especially if it's his bed time, when he's really tired.

2. Elliot's feet are currently his very best companions.

3. He has been called (by Ginnie) "the toothless piranha" because he loves to attack things with his gaping, gummy mouth. He has given me a hickey before. He loves to suck and gnaw on knuckles, arms, shoulders, hands... anything he can get his mouth on.

4. He is still waking up about 4 times/night. Not cool.

5. He's gotten pretty good in the car. He still complains pretty frequently, but not all the time.

6. He's so-so on the doorway jumper. He likes it ok for about 10 minutes at a time, no more than twice/day.

7. He's rolling all over the place now! Setting him down on any elevated surface is a no-no these days. He really scooches!

8. He receives several kisses/day from his big sister. (Mmmmmmm-ma!). And gets his pacifier stolen several times/day. But luckily, he's not old enough to care about that yet.

Elliot, even though we are completely exhausted, you are so much fun and so CUTE. We delight in your sweet smile, your little slobber-soaked fingers, and your chubby legs.

These are SO adorable! I keep hearing his funny out-of-breath laugh in my imagination...I miss hearing it for real!
ReplyDeleteAre you drinking farm milk? I know you tried giving up dairy completely...but what about trying the unprocessed stuff? Or is that too risky with a 5 month old?
Meh. Some would say it's not risky, but the medical establishment would say it's VERY risky. I'm on the fence. But in answer to your question, I haven't tried it since I was pregnant with Lucy. Yes, I love his laugh!! Thanks for commenting :).
