One of the churches around here has this massive "tree fort" - a man-made combination of stairs, bridges, and nets that go up about 3 stories.
It's indoors and really nice for a quick, impromptu lunch date.

So I took the kids the other day.
I was trying to satisfy a creativity challenge, which was to shoot color photos at very high ISO. That would normally produce a really grainy image (not pretty).
One of the tips for the challenge was to play around with noise reduction in post processing.

I didn't see much difference with the color noise reduction, but luminance noise reduction helped smooth out the graininess considerably.

This is my favorite. I love all the backlighting. ISO 6400 SS 1/200 AP f/3.2
That playground sounds amazing! And you did a great job with the processing. They came out really good. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with Ginnie, you did a great job on the processing. To my undeveloped sense of photos, I liked the first one. :-)
ReplyDeleteLucy looks so grown up with that skirt on! What does the badge in the back say?
I am cracking up at her facial expressions!
ReplyDeleteLuminance noise reduction, eh? I will have to try that...if I can find it...
Yes! It's under the second tab when you're in CameraRaw -- noise reduction and sharpening. It's easy to go overboard with the Luminance, but it's fun to play around with.
