Maternity Photos

Maternity photos are kind of a funny thing.  I wanted to have at least a couple.  But what do you do with them once you have them?  After baby comes, baby photos go on the walls... and to me belly photos suddenly seem anticlimactic and rather odd to have up and framed.

But regardless... I still wanted a couple of them... just to have.  We took this photo the evening we finished the floor in the nursery.  I love it.  I'm about 6 months pregnant here.

  

Note, to all future mommies planning to take maternity photos:  for the love.   
Do not wait until you are 9 months pregnant to take maternity photos.  You may very likely cry when you see a profile photo of yourself 9 months pregnant.  I did.


I do thank God my husband is such a good friend to me.  After many reassuring words and after my tears were dried, we took a few more photos.

And I like this one.  I'm definitely not posting the photos that caused the tears in the first place.  I deleted those puppies as fast as I could, and they are long gone. But this one, I'll keep.
