Our little thrill-seeker's new favorite activity (or one of them) is putting clothes over her head so she can't see and then holding her arms out in front of her and wandering around until she bumps into something. She thinks it's hysterical.

I think it's pretty funny, too.

Ginnie kept repeating this line from her book, "Peekaboo! It's SPLASHING YOU!" And then tickle, tickle, tickle.

I love that belly giggle Lucy does when she's tired or in a really good mood.

A new fascination Lucy's picked up is the world of "IDE!?" (translation: IDE=outside).

She asks to go "IDE?!!" several times/day now. And she loves being here at my in-laws' house, because they have this awesome sandbox.

We're staying with my in-laws this week while the plumbers are working away at our house. I'm sad not to be home, especially while Elliot is still so little, and we're still adjusting to being a family of 4. But it can't be helped. And I'm so glad to have a nice place to stay here with Daniel's parents. You couldn't ask for a better place for Lucy to spend the days - there are so many great toys here, and she's getting more comfortable with "woof-woof" (Sophie) by the day.
I can't believe I get to see you guys in less than a week. I hope Lucy remembers me! :)
