Lucy is 18 months! Her vocabulary has exploded. My particular favorite new word is hola - said, "ohh-wa," but I also adore it that Daniel and I are now mamá and papá, largely due to Baby Einstein's Baby Signs, which she watches in Spanish.
1. Lucy has gotten so helpful - wiping Elliot's mouth with a blanket when she perceives that he is spitting up (whether he's actually spitting up, or not) and offering him his pacifier when he's fussy. She throws his disposable diapers away for me, too.
2. Lucy has become crazy about shoes and all other articles of clothing. She picks her clothes out of her laundry hamper when she's supposed to be sleeping, and we find her in her crib in the morning with various shirts draped over her head and wrapped around her shoulders, arms, and torso.
3. There's almost no word she won't try to say now. So fun.
4. Other new things this month... golly I can't think straight, I'm so tired. But Lucy's doing great, and we're loving being her parents. She is so stinkin' fun.
