New stuff this month:
- She will now put back the cereal she pulls out of the pantry, when directed to.
- Her vocabulary has exploded-- she will try nearly any word when prompted, and many phrases impromptu. Her clearest words are now "apple" and "ball" and "poo-poo". "Bubbles" also ranks very high after my mom made bubbles at the park with her.
- She has begun yelling to get attention when conversation grows lively around her. I think she's trying to find a way to participate.
- She has become interested in the potty. She waves bye-bye to poo-poo after diaper changes and has begun to pretend to empty her clean diapers over her little potty. It's too cute.
- Swinging her baby in the basket is nearly as fun as getting one of us to swing her in it. She even makes the sound effect when she does it ("whee!").
- She regularly wants to check in with baby Elliot-- signing baby when she wakes up from naps or sees me without Elliot. And when she sees me with Elliot, she often wants to hold him. She does well holding him and then signs "all done" when she's finished.
- She has really gotten into dancing--bouncing and spinning during the songs in Sesame Street. Her favorite (read: only) Sesame Street episodes that she watches are "Elmo's Potty Time" and "Maravillas Musicales."
- She loves balls-- throwing them, pointing to them, and especially picking off and carrying one of the many that hang on the Christmas tree.
- She gives kisses more freely, making a "Mmm-ah" sound.
- She has become an avid acorn collector. She will pick up as many as she can carry while on walks.

And that's all I can think of at the moment. Happy first week of December :).
